Skinest's appeal against Lithuanian Railways' sleeper contract with Swetrak rejected
28.12.2018A Lithuanian court has ruled that a railway sleeper supply contract signed between Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai (Lithuanian Railways) and Estonian-Lithuanian joint venture Swetrak through a negotiated procedure is lawful and that Estonian-owned Skinest Baltija's offer did not meet the technical requirements, informed LETA/BNS.

Over the month, the turnover of retail trade enterprises in Lithuania grew by 0.4%
28.12.2018Statistics Lithuania informs that, based on provisional data, in November 2018, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade1 enterprises amounted to EUR 960.9 mln at current prices, and against October 2018, seasonally and calendar adjusted, grew by 0.4% (unadjusted – decreased by 4%).
In November, retail trade turnover in Latvia increased by 4.0%
28.12.2018Calendar adjusted data (at constant prices) compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) show that, compared to November 2017, in November 2018 total retail trade turnover rose by 4%. Turnover of retail trade in food products increased by 4.4 %, turnover of retail trade in non-food products, except for retail sale of automotive fuel, rose by 5.6%, but turnover of retail sale of automotive fuel reduced by 1.1%.
