In May, construction input prices in Lithuania increased by 3.1% y-o-y

Statistics Lithuania informs that in May 2018, against April, construction input prices increased by 0.6%. The greatest influence on the overall price change was made by a 1.3% increase in wages and salaries, 0.4% increase in prices of construction materials and products, as well as by a 0.3% decrease in overheads. An increase in average gross hourly earnings was determined by increased lump sum premiums, bonuses and benefits.

Data compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia (CSB) show thatin 2017, the average forest regeneration costs in Latvia comprised 438–567 EUR/ha, depending on the forest land quality group1. In 2016, these costs constituted 551–600 EUR/ha, while in 2015 those were 620–687 EUR/ha. Forest regeneration costs include expenditure on soil preparation, small sapling expenses and planting costs.

During its last fiscal year, which lasted from October 10, 2016 to September 30, 2017, Douglas Latvia, the owner of a chain of cosmetics stores, raised turnover by 4.6% from the previous fiscal year to EUR 18.31 million, while its profit grew 12.7% to EUR 1.034 million, writes LETA, according to the company’s financial report available in Firmas.lv business database.
