In May, construction costs in Latvia increased by 0.5%

Data of the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) show that, compared to April, in May 2018 the level of construction costs in Latvia grew by 0.5%. Labour remuneration of workers increased by 1.7%, maintenance and operational costs of machinery and equipment – by 0.3%, but prices of building materials – by 0.2%.

Statistics Lithuania informs that, based on provisional data, in May 2018, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade1 enterprises amounted to EUR 979.6 million at current prices, and against April 2018, seasonally and calendar adjusted, increased by 0.2% at constant prices (unadjusted – by 9.5%).
