Latvian MFA: Baltic Sea states must work together to reduce sea pollution

All members of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) should agree on practical measures and seek an effective solution so as to reduce the catastrophic pollution of the Baltic Sea, Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics said during the meeting with the Swedish Foreign Minister, Margot Wallstrom, informs LETA.

Base salary of police officers, border guards to rise to EUR 1,280 in Estonia

Estonian Interior Minister Andres Anvelt and management of the Police and Border Guard Board agreed on the gross basic salary of patrol officers and border guards raising to at least 1,280 euros next year, to which bonuses would be added, for instance in East-Viru County the real salary of patrol officers would total 1,700 euros, informs LETA/BNS.
