The number of applications received by the Estonian Consulate General in St. Petersburg was 6,529 in December, which is 49.1% more than in December 2018, spokespeople for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The Estonian embassy in Moscow received 5,718 applications in November and 4,903 in December. Compared with November and December of the year before, the increase in the number of applications was 18.46% and 20.85%, respectively.

The Pskov office of the St. Petersburg Consulate General received 1,297 visa applications in December 2019, 14.4% more than in the same month the year before.

In Minsk, Belarus, the Estonian embassy received 914 applications in December of last year, 24.52% more than in December 2018.

Ministry spokespeople said that approximately 90% of the visas granted by the Moscow embassy and Pskov office in December were multiple entry Schengen visas.
