BC, Tallinn, 09.08.2016.Print version
Political instability in Turkey has substantially reduced demand for holidays in that country as a result of which the Estonian tour operator GoAdventure has decided to cancel flights to Turkey, reports LETA/BNS.

"We're offering alternative solutions to customers affected by this decision,"told  the firm's marketing manager Jevgenia Kirilova. "We're certain that we'll be able to find the best alternative for our clients in our travel program. Already today we can offer sun trips to Egypt from October 2016 till April 2017."

According to Kirilova the tour operator also is set to offer new destinations in Spain soon. "Furthermore, new distant pocket-friendly destinations ideally suited for a beach vacation are in the pipeline," she observed.

Customers who do not wish an alternative trip and want a refund should submit a respective application, Kirilova said. The money will be refunded within 14 days.

Last week GoAdventure canceled Thursday's departures from Tallinn and Riga to Bulgaria, citing poor service quality of the Bulgarian partner. Kirilova affirmed at that time that GoAdventure will continue operations. There has been speculation in the media that the company could be experiencing financial troubles, but the tour operator has denied the rumors and asserted that its activity will continue in full.
