In September, apartment prices in Riga grew by 8% y-o-y

According to the Land Register, the number of apartment sale deals in Riga in September decreased by almost 10%, as compared to the respective period of last year. The number of deals in the first nine months of this year, increased by 4.13%, as compared to the respective period of last year.
According to Ober-Haus specialists, the prices of pre-renovated Soviet-era apartments in Riga's suburbs varied. Prices ranged between EUR 450 and EUR 700 per square meter, which corresponds to the market situation, and also between EUR 800 and EUR 1,000, which does not correspond to the market situation.
Ober-Haus indicates that there is still a large interest in mortgaged apartments and apartments owned by banks.
