Apartment prices fall in Vilnius, Tallinn, but stable in Riga in September

Print versionIn September 2014, apartment prices dropped the most in Tallinn, by 4.1%. In Vilnius they decreased marginally, by 0.2%. Meanwhile, in Riga apartment prices remained without changes compared to the previous month, informs LETA/ELTA.

According to Ober-Haus Real Estate Advisors, the most significant changes in apartment prices throughout the 12-month-period were observed in Tallinn. In September 2014, compared with September 2013, apartment prices in Tallinn increased by 13.7%. In Vilnius the figure stands at 6.8 and in Riga at 5.8%.
Of the three Baltic States the highest average cost per square metre remains in Tallinn – LTL 4,924 (EUR 1,425). In Vilnius the average apartment price is LTL 4,442 (EUR 1,286) and in Riga LTL 3,654 (1,058) per square metre.
