In September, purchase of real estate decreases by 6.3% in Lithuania

Print versionIn September 2013, 10.4 thousand of the real estate objects were bought and this was 6.3% lower as compared to August, informs LETA/ELTA the State Enterprise Centre of Registers.

In September, the purchase of the individual residential houses decreases but there was a significant increase in the purchase of the non-residential accommodation and land.
In September 2012, 8296 real estate objects were bought, in September 2011 – 8533, in September 2010 – 6893 and in September 2009 – 5237 real estate objects.
As compared to August, in September, the number of the sold block of flats was nearly the same, while the number of the residential houses decreased nearly by the tenth.
In September, as compared to August, the number of the lots of the ground sold increased by 581 or 11.6%.
