Ober-Haus: real estate prices in Estonia have grown over 12.2 % in June y-o-y

Ober-Haus real estate company’s index of flat prices grew by 0.2% in June, in comparison with the month of May, writes LETA/Postimees Online. In comparison with the month of June 2012, the index is 12.2% higher.

A total of 559 real estate transactions involving flats were carried out in June in Tallinn – 23% fewer than in May 2013 and 2% fewer than in June 2012.

 

The average are unit price in flats in Tallinn fell by 4.3% in comparison with the month of May.

 

In comparison with the peaking prices in 2007, the average area unit price in flats in Tallinn is 29.5% lower, amounting to 1,203 euros per square metre.

 

In Tartu, the average area unit price grew by 5.7% in comparison with the previous month, to 1,008 euros, and in Pärnu the price grew by 8.3%, to 810 euros, but the number of transactions fell.

 

In Jõhvi and Narva, the number of transactions declined, but in Jõhvi the average area unit price increased to 232 euros per square metre, in Narva the price fell to 396 euros per square metre.
