In May, apartment prices grew in all Baltic capitals

Print versionAccording to Apartment Price Index estimated by Ober-Haus Real Estate Advisors, in May 2013 the prices of apartments have increased in all capitals of the Baltic countries, reports LETA/ELTA.

The prices of flats have increased by 4.4% in Tallinn, by 0.3% in Riga and only by 0.1% in Vilnius.
For the third month in a row, the highest average price per square meter among the three Baltic countries' capitals has remained in Tallinn – in May it has increased to LTL 4,347 ( EUR 1,258). The average price per square meter in May in Vilnius reached LTL 4,129.6 (EUR 1,195.84), while in Riga – LTL 3,429.3 (EUR 993.1).
The most noticeable annual changes in the prices of flats are observed in Tallinn. In comparison to May of 2012, the prices have increased by 13.9% in Estonia, the increase in Riga reached 0.9%, while in Vilnius the prices were stable and remained as they were.
