Lithuania's real estate sales in September decreased by 5% y-o-y

After the spurt in summer 2012, real estate market in Lithuania activity slowed down again. However, the total number of real estate sales over the first 9 months remained by 11% higher than Q3 year-on-year and by 33% higher than in 2010.

According to preliminary data, over 8,100 real estate objects were acquired in September, it is almost by 5.6 less than in August when the number of sold objects stood at 8,591 and it is by 5% less than in September 2011, writes LETA/ELTA.

 

According to preliminary data of Q3, in the last quarter by 8% less real estate purchases were made than in April – June of 2012 but by 17% more than in January – March.

 

The number of sold real estate objects in Q3 is by 3% higher than in 2011 and by 26% than in 2010 year-on-year.
