New apartments' sales in Vilnius decrease by 4% in 2011

In 2011, sales of new apartments in Vilnius, compared to 2010, decreased by 4%, real estate company Eika said.

There were 1200 newly built apartments sold in 2011 in Vilnius, reports LETA/ELTA.

Eika Market Analyst Tomas Ziaugra said that the decrease in sales was due to changing conditions of mortgage loans and unstable people's financial situation.
