Over 700 mln EUR worth real estate was sold in Estonia in H1

Print versionIn the first half of the year 2011, 14,749 real estate sales-purchase transactions were conducted in Estonia, which was by 2.2% more than at the same time last year; 720.5 million EUR worth real estate changed owners, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

The value of transactions was by 31% higher than a year ago, the real estate market review of Uus Maa real estate agency indicates.
As compared to the first half of 2007, the boom era, when 27,587 real estate sales-purchase transactions were conducted in Estonia, transaction activity has fallen by 46.5%.
