In February Estonian apartments market grew by more than a third

According to the Estonian Land Board data, 684 transactions with apartments were conducted in Estonia in February 2010, which was by more than a third more than the 489 in January, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

In Tallinn, 409 apartments exchanged owners that is a bit more than a fifth more than in January. The price of a sq metre grew by 135 kroons to 13,919 kroons.

 

In Tartu, the number of transactions grew in February by nearly a fifth to 87, by 17 more than in January. The average price grew by 416 kroons to 11,168 kroons per sq metre.

 

In Pärnu, 40 apartments exchanged hands, a growth of more than two times. The price grew by 616 kroons to 9,877 kroons a sq metre.

 

In Narva, the number of transactions grew by a half to 58 but the price of a sq metre fell by 182 kroons to 4,154 kroons.
