City24: volume of real estate on sale in Estonia fell significantly over January-November

The number of real estate objects put up for sale has fallen significantly in 2009 – the choices for people looking for new flats have decreased the most, writes Postimees Online/LETA.

As of beginning of December, a total of 11,515 flats, 4,473 houses, 6,283 pieces of land property, 588 summer cottages and 1,434 commercial spaces were up for sale in Estonia, stated real estate portal City24 on the basis of its statistics environment Spot.

 

While in the beginning of the year, nearly 17,000 flats were offered for sale in the beginning of the year 2009, this indicator is by 32% smaller now.

 

The number of houses as sales objects has fallen by nearly a thousand since the beginning of the year, the number of land properties by 3,000 and summer cottages by 300.

 

Supply of office spaces has been the most stable throughout the year, ranging from 1,450 to 1,750 objects.
