Sales of new apartments in Vilnius decreased by 70% in H1 y-o-y

Print versionOver the first six months of 2009, around 500 new flats were sold or reserved in Vilnius.

According to the data presented by the Centre of Registers, the sales went down around 70% compared to the H1 of 2008.
This year, over 60% of sold flats were economy-class flats which cost average 2,500-4,500 litas (728.26 – 1,311 euros) per square meter. Flat prices in this sector dropped around 17% over the first half-year of 2009.
