Majoni, a small player of the Swedish construction market of Lithuanian origin, intends to open an office in Vilnius to search for new workers for projects in Sweden, informs LETA/BNS.

"Vilnius features a convenient strategic location in terms of communication. This is why we chose Vilnius, when planning search of specialists and partners abroad. The new mission will first of all work with search for personnel and communication," Jonas Dovydaitis, CEO of the Majoni group, said in a press release.

In his words, the mission will also have to step up cooperation with business partners. The office should commence operations in Vilnius this fall.

Dovydaitis founded Majoni in Sweden 16 years ago. About half of its staff are Lithuanian. Majoni implements new residential construction projects in Sweden, providing the full package of services needed for the projects.

In the first half of 2017, Majoni posted 5.5 million euros in turnover, up by a factor of 2.8 year-on-year.
