Apartments in Estonia's Koigi municipality offered for 1000 kroons

Apartments in Koigi municipality, Päinurme village are on sale for a thousand kroons, which means the price is 26 kroons per square meter, LETA reported, referring to Estonian media.

Koigi municipality has put up for an auction a total of five apartments with the initial price of 1000 kroons.

 

Koigi is a rural municipality of Järva County, Estonia. It has a population of 1177 (2004).

 

Considering that the apartments vary in area from 23.3 square meters to 38 square meters, the price per square meter starts from 26 kroons.

 

Kristjan Kõljalg, Koigi's rural municipality mayor, said that these apartments are sold for a symbolic price so that they do not stay empty. The aim is to find an owner who would renovate these apartments, since they are in a very bad condition.
