Latvian drug wholesalers' turnover decreases by 1% in Q3

Print versionCompared with the second quarter of the year 2014, the total amount of medication sales by drug wholesalers in Latvia decreased by 1% in the third quarter, reports LETA, referring to the State Agency of Medicine data.

The total turnover of drug wholesalers in Latvia reached EUR 105.75 million in the third quarter.
Compared with the third quarter of the previous year, the total drug turnover has grown by 3%.
In the third quarter of this year, a total of 623 different drugs included in the Drug Register of Latvia were exported from Latvia, including 273 from the list of state compensated drugs in the amount of EUR 17 million, which is 10% less than in the second quarter of this year.
A total of 71 certified drug wholesalers operated in Latvia in the third quarter of this year.
