Almost half residents have more frequently purchased Latvian made items in September

49% of economically active residents of Latvia have more frequently purchased items produced in Latvia over the past month, according to a survey carried out by the market, social and media research company TNS Latvia and the LNT television, cites LETA/Nozare.lv.
Meanwhile, 42% of economically active residents have not purchased items produced in Latvia more frequently, while 9% did not give a clear answer on this matter.
The survey reveals that consumer habits, in regard to the purchase of Latvian made goods, have seen a substantial change recently.
68% of economically active residents of Latvia have noticed the consumer campaigns to purchase Latvian-made products.
The survey was conducted from September 16 to 18. 750 residents ages 18 to 55 were interviewed.
