Tele2 lost the most of clients, Elisa won the most from number portability in Estonia in 2012

Print versionWhile Elisa gained 22,739 clients due to number portability in 2012, Tele2 lost 16,078 and EMT 6,510 clients, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

According to technical Supervision Authority December statistics, EMT gained the most of mobile phone numbers (1,324), Elisa got 820 and Tele2 lost 2,137 numbers.
The numbers reflect the amount of real mobile phone numbers that have moved from one communications company to another.
The number is not comparable to the total number of clients of a telecommunications company since one client can have several phone numbers but one accession contract.
