Baltika generated 4.5 mln euros in sales revenue in July

Print versionBaltika’s consolidated sales revenue generated in July was 1% higher than the same indicator a year ago, writes LETA/Postimees Online.

Member of the management board of Baltika Maigi Pärnik noted in the statement issued by the company to the Tallinn Stock Exchange that the result was achieved on the total sales area that was nearly ten% smaller than that of last year and hence the sales efficiency of the retail system – i.e. sales per square metre – grew 9% in July.
While year-on-year growth in sales in Latvia and in Ukraine was 12% and 7%, respectively, in June, Baltika’s sales in Russia fell 13%.
Wholesale volumes grew 43% in July in the year-on-year comparison.
As of end of July, Baltika operated 106 stores with the total sales area of 21,368 square metres.
