70% of Latvian "Rimi" vegetables are locally-grown

Print version70 percent of vegetables available at "Rimi" super markets are from the new Latvia-grown harvest, "Nozare.lv" was informed by "Rimi" representative Dace Valnere.

Valnere pointed out that, during this weekend, "Rimi" stores will also begin to offer local beets (35 santims per kilogram) and zucchinis (LVL 1.19 per kilogram).
"Rimi" buyers will have the opportunity purchase this year's first harvest of Latvia-grown onions (59 santims per kilogram) and the first local carrots.
"Rimi" will also sell bilberries and black currants next week, reported NOZARE.LV/LETA.
