Elvi turnover increased by 10% in 2011

Elvi chain stores boosted their turnover by ten percent last year, Nozare.lv was informed by Elvi Marketing Manager Laila Vartukapteine.

In 2010, Elvi turned over LVL 70 million.

 

Commenting on Elvi forecast for this year, Vartukapteine emphasizes that turnover is expected to grow 16 percent. New stores will be added to the chain, exceeding a total of 100 in Latvia and creating 200 additional jobs, writes LETA.

 

In 2011, Elvi market share amounted to 6%. This year, the company plans to increase it to 6.5 percent. Nevertheless, it cannot be denied that the company's growth will also depend on its rivals, explains Vartukapteine.

 

As reported, in 2011, Elvi added 18 new stores to its chain all over Latvia, increasing their total number to 78.

 

Elvi is a chain store franchise in Latvia. The chain employs 1,500 people, including 125 in Riga.
