Profit of Philip Morris Latvia totalled LVL 499,732 in 2007

Print versionThe tobacco company Philip Morris Latvia Ltd. posted LVL 499,732 in profit in 2007 – a 53% increase on 2006, according to the Registry of Enterprises' Lursoft data.

The company's profit in 2006 amounted to LVL 327,067, in 2005 it was LVL 278,376, in 2004 – LVL 344,964, in the past few years' time it was the highest in 2003, when the enterprise posted LVL 1,270,651profit, writes LETA.
Turnover of Philip Morris Latvia last year reached LVL 88,71 million, that is, 69% more than in 2006, when its annual turnover was LVL 52,46 million. The turnover figure in 2005 was LVL 36,25. The enterprise posted LVL 27,301,295 turnover in 2004 and LVL 26,367,070 in 2003.
Philip Morris Latvia is the sole importer of Philip Morris International products on the Latvian market. The company has been operating in Latvia since year 2000.
