FY revenue of Maardu Terminal drops 67% on year
The operating environment of the company was affected
macroeconomically by the decline in fuel prices and changes to the excise
policy, Maardu Terminal said in its
annual report.
Maardu Terminal is
a partner to the Estonian Oil Stockpiling agency in the storage of Estonia's
stocks of liquid fuel. In collaboration with Nordea Finance Estonia AS, Maardu
Terminal AS is investing money in the establishment of small stations for
refilling with liquefield natural gas (LNG) across Estonia.
By the end of 2016, it had completed local stations in the
following towns and small towns of Estonia: Kuressaare, Paide, Mao, Voru and
Tapa.
In 2016, the company employed 10 people, one more than in
2015. Worker payroll totaled 302,000 euros and remuneration of the member of
the management board 56,000 euros.
