Lithuania's A.Zilinskio ir Ko pulled down by separated operation and lack of major projects

Lithuanian-owned energy company A. Zilinskio ir Ko last year netted 25.79 mln euros in revenue in 2016, down by 47.2%, from 48.813 mln euros, y-o-y, informed LETA/BNS.
The company's net profit grew by 14.7% to 1.028 mln euros, A.Zilinskio ir Ko said in a report to
the Center of Registers.
"In light of the overall recovery of Lithuanian and
European economies, the company is expected to raise its revenue from sales by
40% in the next financial period," the company said in an annual report.
According to the communique, the company's revenue were last
year pulled down by separated operations and a decline in the volume of
large-scale projects. In 2016, the company handed over its construction and
utilization business to a new company, A.
Zilinskio ir Co, transferring project operations to another new company, Projektai ir Co.
