Rigas Udens municipal water utility posts EUR 1.543 mln in Q1 profit

Print versionRigas Udens municipal water utility in the first quarter of this year generated EUR 11.701 mln in sales, down 1.1% from the respective period last year, while the company’s profit dropped 11% to EUR 1.543 mln, according to the company’s financial report writes LETA.

Rigas Udens
revenue from water supply services decreased 1.5% to EUR 5.35 mln in the first
quarter of this year, while income from sewerage services increased 0.8% to EUR
6.11 mln.
A total of 9.651 mln cubic meters of water was supplied to Rigas Udens customers in the first
quarter of 2017.
In the first three months of this year Rigas Udens has made investments worth EUR 2.73 mln.
In the first quarter of 2016, Rigas Udens posted EUR 11.837 mln in turnover and EUR 1.735 mln in
profit.
The task of Rigas
Udens is to supply residents, companies, institutions and organizations of
Riga with drinkable water, and wastewater treatment. The sole owner of the
company is the Riga City Council.
