Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Paet confirmed his wish to ease the life of Estonian businessmen abroad and support them, while speaking to an audience of Estonian diplomats and entrepreneurs before the start of the annual meeting for the Foreign Ministry’s economy officials, EstonianFreePress reported.

"When an Estonian entrepreneur needs help in finding export markets or the investment, the Foreign Ministry is prepared for multi-faceted co-operation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the entrepreneur," he said. "For example, potential partners of Estonian businesses have an increasingly easier time travelling to Estonia from countries that have no Estonian representation thanks to the visa representation agreements we have signed."

Estonian ambassadors to CEE countries have met with local entrepreneurs and officials from the Chamber of Commerce to discuss how to support the development of Estonian business and build a better network between the different players involved in the market.

"Foreign Ministry and its diplomats actively follow the interests of Estonian entrepreneurs and are prepared to support the activities of Estonian businessmen by finding foreign contacts and opportunities," said Paet.
