Sales of the Estonian beverage maker A. Le Coq in the first nine months of the year grew 3.7% to 61.7 mln euros and the beverages sold by the company increased 0.3% to 97 mln liters, reports LETA/BNS.
Operating profit in Estonia increased 5.8% to 13.5 mln euros
in the nine months and decreased 3.4% to 5 mln euros in the third quarter, its
appears from the interim report of A. Le
Coq's Finnish parent group Olvi.
In the third quarter the company's sales decreased by 1.5%
to 20.4 mln euros and sales volume by 5.3% to 31.9 mln liters.
Development in the Baltic countries correspond with the
group's expectations, Olvi said.
Operating profit exceeds the previous period's result and the market shares of
the company's main products are strong.
In the last quarter sales volumes slightly declined as a
result of bad weather.
