Latvia’s Kronis food company posts increase of profit in 2015

Print versionLatvian vegetable and fruit processing company Kronis last year generated EUR 2.04 mln in sales, down 4 % from 2014, according to Firmas.lv business database, reports LETA.

The company’s profit last year was EUR 3,512 compared to EUR 230 loss in 2014.
The company’s management said in its report that last year was perspective for further growth. The company also continued development of its two brands – Kronis and Rundale in the premium segment.
This year it is planned to expand both brands, focus on the profitable products and expand exports.
Kronis was established in 1996, and has a share capital of EUR 678,198. Its largest shareholders are Janis Abolins (46.16%) and Aivars Svarenieks (40.04%).
