Preilu Siers profit falls 29% in 2015
The company's profit amounted to EUR 1.24 mln - 29% less than in 2014.
According to Preilu Siers management report, the group's consolidated companies were also profitable last year. Latgales Piens earned EUR 129,012 in profit, Kraslavas Piens - EUR 273,708, Seli - EUR 101,002, Agrofirma Turiba - EUR 1,697,691. The other two companies of the group posted losses in 2015 - Zolva's losses amounted to EUR 24,210 and Vieteja- EUR 957.
The group's overall financial results improved 65.63% last year, mostly thanks to the successful operations of Agrofirma Turiba that the group acquired in 2015.
The report also notes a new production facility that runs on woodchip biomass and other investment projects implemented last year.
Germany, Netherlands, Poland and a few Asian countries continue to be the main export markets to Preilu Siers. Last year Preilu Siers also received a certificate authorizing the company to export its products to China.
Preilu Siers was registered in 1991. The company's share capital is EUR 5,145,899, it employs a total of 304 workers.
