The biggest contributor to the result was the parent company Advokaadiburoo Sorainen, whose revenue grew 5% to 6.8 mln euros and net profit moved up 25% to 2.9 mln euros, it appears from the annual report.

In addition to the parent company the group is made up of the subsidiaries and affiliates ASLO Konsultatsioonid OU, SLOH OY, UAB SLOV Services, SIA SLOR and IOOO SORAINEN i Partnery, the total revenue of which last year was 2.5 mln euros and net profit 662,000 euros.

The group has not announced the size of its dividend for 2015. The parent company paid a dividend of 1.9 mln euros last year and 1.6 mln euros in 2014.

The average labor cost per employee of the group in 2015 was 27,000 euros and the group employed 113 people. Labor costs at the parent company totaled 38,000 euros per person, compared with 40,000 euros per person in 2014. The parent company employed 55 people last year, four more than in 2014.

Law offices of Sorainen are active also in Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus. However, due to the rules valid in the bar associations of these countries they are not part of the group and their results are not reflected in the group result, it stands in the annual report of Sorainen.

Overall in the EU, members of the public, businesses, NGOs and other organizations remained very active in reporting potential breaches of EU law in 2015. However, the number of new complaints fell for the first time since 2011, by around 9% against 2014.
