Estonian State Forest Management Centre saw earnings fall by half in H1

BC, Tallinn, 11.08.2015.Print version
In the first six months of 2015, the State Forest Management Centre (RMK) in Estonia earned 4.5 million euros in profits while generating a sales turnover of 75.3 million euros, writes LETA/Delfi.

Whereas the company's turnover remained broadly on the same level as last year, profits fell by half in comparison with 2014.

CEO of RMK Aigar Kallas explained that the reason for the decline in earnings was that the prices on the timber market have been falling.
