Lido achieved EUR 33.16 mln in turnover in 2014

Print versionThe popular Latvian catering company joint-stock Lido increased turnover by 17% in 2014 to EUR 33.16 million, reports LETA, according to Firmas.lv.

However, the company posted EUR 888,957 in losses last year, compared to EUR 863,678 in profit in 2013.
Last year, the company paid EUR 9.4 million worth of taxes to the state, compared to EUR 8.3 million the previous year.
Lido points out that its priority in 2015 is to maintain its market share in an increasing environment of competition.
Lido currently runs nine restaurants in Latvia, and one in Tallinn. The company also operates a food production base, beer brewery, confectionery, and a shop in Riga.
The company was founded in 1991. Its share capital is EUR 14.11 million. Gunars Kirsons is the founder, owner, and head of Lido.
