DNB banka issues EUR 10 mln loan for Latraps development
Latraps plans to invest this money into the development of grain pre-processing complexes, improvement of agricultural technology and funding of grain price hedging.
Head of the DNB bank's Manufacturing Enterprises Department, Janis Gaibiselis indicates that the bank has established a productive cooperation with Latraps, and that the signed agreement confirms future perspectives of its development.
Gaibiselis also said that DNB banka has prioritized the agriculture field to improve cooperation with an even larger number of companies in this field.
With more than 700 of its members, Latraps is the largest cooperative society of agricultural services in Latvia. Furthermore, Latraps plans to expand its services further in Latvia.
According to information provided by Firmas.lv, Latraps was founded on May 9, 2000. The cooperative's turnover in 2012, was EUR 203,831,734, which is 58% more than in 2011, when the turnover was EUR 129,809,224.
