''Tukuma piens'' increased profits by 47% last year

Print versionDairy company joint-stock ''Tukuma piens'' achieved EUR 49.31 million in turnover last year, which was 15 percent more when compared to 2012, when the company operated with EUR 42.84 million in turnover, informs NOZARE.LV/LETA reffering to the company.

Meanwhile, the company posted EUR 2.287 million in profit in 2013, which was 47% more than in 2012, when the company posted EUR 1.552 million in profit.
Tukuma piens informs that it was successful in increasing exports last year, especially to Russia, Lithuania and Estonia.
This year, the company plans to continue its development and invest last year's profits back into the company and implement new projects.
Tukuma piens produces various dairy products: yogurt, butter, sour cream, and cottage cheese.
The company employs approximately 250 persons.
