Latvian Lido achieved largest turnover in 5 years in 2013

According to audited financial results, Latvian joint-stock public catering and food producer Lido achieved it largest turnover in five years in 2014 – EUR 29.72 million, the company informed the business information portal Nozare.lv, cites LETA.

In its catering business, the company saw a 12% increase in turnover.

 

Meanwhile, the company's profit almost tripled when compared to 2012 – from EUR 344,309 in 2012 to EUR 863,678 in 2013.

 

Lid' board chairwoman Rita Auzina points out that last year was a year of ''take-off'' in the company's development.

 

''Constantly working on optimizing costs and restructuring the company, we have been successful in almost tripling profits in 2013, reaching EUR 863,678 in 2013,'' Auzina pointed out.

 

At the moment, Lido runs a network of nine bistros in Latvia and one in Tallinn, a brewery, several stores and food production facilities in Riga.

 

Lido was established in 1991, the company's share capital is EUR 14.11 million.
