"Latviabeerfest" to be held for three days in a row

The festival will take place from May 23 to May 25, and this will be the fourth time when breweries and distributors from Latvia and other countries gather in one place.
"Starting from 11 a.m., visitors will be able to enjoy music, interesting competitions, delicious treats and more than 165 beer brands, as well as healthy non-alcoholic drinks for children," the organizer of "Latviabeerfest", the "Alus braliba" association's chairman, Andrejs Sikors, said yesterday.
The international conference "Baltic Beer Star" will be held at the festival, during which professionals from several countries will gather to discuss the latest developments and share their experience in brewing, Jermuss said.
Various competitions and games will be held at the festival, for example, "Miss and Mister Latviabeerfest 2014."
This year, the festival is financed by Riga City Council, "Latvijas Avize", "Live Riga" and the Austrian Ambassador in Latvia Stefan Pehringer.
A press conference for the event will be held on May 14, at 1 p.m., at "Starogorod" in Riga, 1 Republikas Street.
