Woodworking company Stali turnover in 2013 grew to EUR 14.47 mln

Turnover for the woodworking company Stali in Priekuli Region, in 2013 increased by 6%, but the profit – 2%, information by Firmas.lv indicates, cites LETA/Nozare.lv.

The company's turnover last year was EUR 14.47 million, in comparison with 13.71 million in 2012.

 

The company's profit was EUR 309,501, in comparison with EUR 278,845 a year ago.

 

The company's managerial report shows that in 2013, the re-organization of manufacturing processes continued, new production methods were introduced, and the realization opportunities grew in England, France and Sweden, new markets are sought out as well.

 

As reported, 100% of Stali capital, in the amount of EUR 5.44 million, last year was purchased from its previous owners – U.S. company Forrest Distribution – by the Estonian company Metsamaterjali Agentuur.

 

Stali was founded in 1992. The company employs 348 workers and manufactures furniture panels, wooden windows and doors, and briquettes. Semi-finished furniture products are exported to the European Union member states and the United States. Briquettes are sold in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
