Tartu University sells one of its buildings for 850,000 euros

Print versionTartu University has sold one of its buildings in the center of the city, preserved as a historical landmark, the Estonian national broadcasting corporation ERR said referring to Tartu Postimees.

The construction was sold for 850,000 euros, informs LETA.
The historical building is located in front of the main building of the university.
The university's management is satisfied with the deal, because the seller ultimately received twice more than the sum named during evaluation of the building.
A new owner of the erection is a company Tartu Mill, which plans to renovate the house, and provide flats and commercial space in the building.
