Drogas achieved LVL 51.07 mln in turnover ln 2011; profit – LVL 4.38 mln

Print versionThe joint-stock cosmetics and household goods retailer Drogas posted LVL 51.07 million in consolidated turnover in 2011, or 1.2% more than in 2010, when the company achieved LVL 50.48 million in turnover, according to information on Firmas.lv.

In 2011, Drogas consolidated profit reached LVL 4.38 million, which was by 1.6% more than in 2010, when the company earned LVL 4.31 million in profit, reports LETA.
The first Drogas store opened in Riga in December 1993. At this time, Drogas is the largest cosmetics and household goods retail chain in the Baltic countries with over 120 stores in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
In June 2004, Drogas was acquired by the international retail company A.S. Watson, which owns 13 retail trade brands in 18 countries in Europe and Asia.
