On the 1st of July 2011, Byko Lat has started its 3rd planning line at its Valmiera site in Latvia. Annual production capacity will increase from 120 000 m3 to 160 000 m3.

The main reason for the production capacity increase is to be more flexible with the production and decrease lead times to our customers, told BC Valts Kurpnieks, Managing Director at Byko Lat.

The capacity increase in Valmiera accommodates also our production increase scheduled for 2012 at Laesti which is our Estonian sawmill in Parnu, says Sampsa Auvinen, CEO of Norvik Timber Industries.

Byko Lat has also at its Valmiera site a window and door factory and a prefabricated house factory.

Garden furniture production is located at Byko Lat’s Cesis factory. All production is sold to Europe and North Africa.

Byko Lat is part of Norvik Timber Industries.
