Curonian Spit gaines popularity among tourists

Print versionThe Curonian Lagoon was visited by 23,000 persons during the week-end, June 4-5, as Lrt.lt reports.

The tourists were attracted to this beautiful recreational area on the sea-cost due to the hot and sunny weather, informs LETA/ELTA.
During the period from June 3 to June 5, 4,500 cars were transported to the Curonian Spit by sea.
Due to the large flow of people, additional ferry departures were included in the schedule.
Sunday was the most active day – 10,000 tourists were transported to the Curonian Spit.
