airBaltic to open seasonal Tallinn-Salzburg route

Print versionLatvian carrier airBaltic will on Saturday open a seasonal air service between Tallinn and the city of Salzburg in Austria.

The once-weekly service will be operated with Airbus A220-300 planes.
"For years Salzburg has been among the most popular skiing destinations for Baltic travelers. As we introduce direct flights from Tallinn to Salzburg, we are strengthening our commitment to the local market and our positions as the market leader in Estonia," airBaltic CEO Martin Gauss said when the service was first announced.
airBaltic offers direct flights from Tallinn to Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Oslo, Paris, Stockholm, Vienna and Vilnius. It will launch direct services from Tallinn to Malaga, Brussels and Copenhagen in early June.
