Estonian Merko starts construction of apartment house complex in Riga

The completion of three nine-storey buildings is scheduled
for the beginning of 2020, Merko told the stock exchange on Friday.
The first stage of the project included three similar
buildings with 96 apartments, which were completed in February 2018.
The project is being developed in the Riga district of
Mezciems, one of the greenest neighborhoods of Riga with well-developed infrastructure.
The second stage is made up of 96 apartments with balconies and the size of the
apartments ranges from 63-109 square meters. The average price per square meter
of the apartments will be 1,800 euros.
Closed parking places and storage rooms will be located on
the ground floor. There will be several playgrounds, greenery and open parking
places in the territory of the project, right next to lake Gailezers.
SIA Merks is a Latvian construction company which offers
construction services in the fields of general construction, civil engineering
and residential construction. The company has built more than 1,000 apartments
in Latvia and is one of the leading residential real estate developers in that
country.
