Nights spent by guests at Latvia's hotels up 11.9% in January-July

The number of nights spent by guests at Latvia’s hotels and other tourist facilities in the first seven months of 2017 grew by 11.9% against the same period last year, reports LETA, according to the data released by the Central Statistics Bureau (CSB).
The number of nights spent by foreign guests in Latvia's hotels and other
tourist facilities in the first seven months of 2017 rose by 11.9% year-on-year
to 1.949 million.
In January-July this year, the Latvian hotels and other tourist facilities
received 1.47 million guests, up 11.7% against the same period in 2016 when
they saw the number of guests grow 13% to 1.012 million.
In 2016, the Latvian hotels and tourist facilities received 2.304 million
guests, up 7.7% from 2015, while the number of nights spent by guests in
Latvia's hotels and other tourist facilities rose 7.5% to 4.417 million.
