Lage Ko makes more than EUR 0.5 mln in profit in 2016

Company Lage Ko, which runs the network of Gan Bei restaurants that in 2014 came under close scrutiny for tampering with cash registers and tax evasion, made EUR 585,173 in profit in 2016 after posting EUR 276,347 in losses in 2014, while the company's turnover decreased 3.1% to EUR 15.66 million, informs LETA.

Lage Ko management report says that 2016 was a stable and successful year for the company. All legal disputes between Lage Ko and the State Revenue Service were resolved in 2016, and last year Lage Ko finished making compensation payments into the state budget for violations established at Gan Bei restaurants in 2014.

 

The company also took extra measures last year to ensure that its business practices strictly adher to the laws and regulations of Latvia.

 

According to Lage Ko's management, the company is planning to further consolidate Gan Bei positions on the market and open one more restaurant in Riga.

 

As reported, a criminal case was opened at the end of 2014, in which Lage Ko stood accused of tax evasion. Nevertheless, the company was not shut down and was allowed to operate its restaurant business.

 

Lage Ko was registered in 1993, the company's share capital is EUR 506,625. Lage Ko belongs to Natalija Pavlova (33.33% of shares), Irena Lice (33.33%) and Olegs Arups (33.33%).
