Danish-capital Baltic Agro raises revenue to EUR 161 mln in 2016

Print versionDanish-capital agricultural produce production company Baltic Agro of Lithuania posted 161.087 million euros in revenue last year, up by 3%, from 156.415 million euros, in 2015, informs LETA/BNS.

The company's net profit fell by a factor of 4.1 to 689,281 euros in 2016
year-on-year, Baltic Agro said in a
report to the Center of Registers.
According to the annual report, the last year's profits declined due to
poor grain crops caused by bad weather conditions and declining fertilizer
prices.
The company operates warehouses in Kedainiai, Gustonys (Panevezys county),
Raseiniai, Vilkaviskis and Vilnius, as well as a seed factory in the Panevezys
district.
Baltic Agro is 100-% owned by Denmark's DLA
Agravis International Holding.
